Right now I use all natural olive oil castile and calendula soap for my kids and all natural shampoo bars for their hair. I use an apple cidar vinegar rinse in mine and my dd's long, fine easily tangled blond hair too but I need something to spray on it in the mornigns to help with static and a little bit of tangles. I've seen homeade ones on Etsy that have Aloe vera juice in them and was hoping perhaps one of you might have a recipe I could try to make my own for her. I need one with no chemiclas in it!

I don't have a leave-in conditioner recipe that I use, but have found many helpful ideas from this site: Hair Styles - Hair - Removal I know the url says "hair removal", but it's really "Hair Care Center" when you click on it.

I found a few online. My mom always used vinegar like you said you do. I don't know about a leave in spray conditioner. I wonder if Burt's Bee would have something, they are nautral and no animal testing.

Homemade Egg Conditioner Recipe
Ingredients:

1 teaspoon baby oil
1 egg yolk
1 cup water
Directions:

Beat the egg yolk until its frothy, add the oil then beat again. Add to the water. Massage into the scalp and throughout your hair. Rinse well.

INGREDIENTS

2 ounces aloe vera gel
1/2 teaspoon olive, avocado, or jojoba oil
2 ounces organic apple cider vinegar
1 ounce powdered milk

1. Combine ingredients in a bowl, stirring to blend.

2. Apply to freshly-washed damp hair.

3. Rinse with warm water.

Thanks everyone. I think I'm gonna try the 2nd one w/o the powdered milk and see how it works if I leave it on!

The "California Baby" brand makes chemical free products...as far as a homemade recipe for detangler, my sister 'makes' her own with a little bit of conditioner mixed with water in a spray bottle. So if you find a chemical free conditioner you like, you can make detangler.

I love all natural skin care. I found this website to be extremely helpful. It's called Beauty Recipes at MakeYourCosmetics.com. They have everything from hands, body, hair recipes, and much more. Hopefully you can find something there. They give ratings and reviews from people that have tried it. Hope it helps.
