What do you use for a natural eye makeup remover? Does anyone make their own solution?

100% organic pure Jojoba oil. I put it on a cotton ball or q-tip and it takes off mascara. I don't know about the water proof stuff cause I don't wear that kind, but for the regular stuff it works like a champ.

I don't know how natural baby oil is, but that's what I use. I have also heard to use vegetable or olive oil.

I use baby oil (mineral oil), but have used olive oil, too. Baby oil removes my waterproof mascara more easily. I used Almay's eye makeup remover pads for years before reading the ingredients (duh!), and then made the switch.

I have used Vaseline as well. It is a petroleum byproduct, but I feel that it is analogous to reusing plastic baggies. Energy went into the production of plastic bags. I like ziploc baggies, I just try to use them several times (not after they've touched meat). Same with Vaseline. I still drive my car, so the petroleum jelly is going to be produced anyway, I just try to drive as little as possible. The least I can do is use something else that is a byproduct of the petroleum process.

Yeah, I have been using baby oil lately and it works pretty well. I didn't know how "natural" it is, but I guess it is better than all the chemicals that are in commercial makeup removers.

I am not a very "green" person...but be careful using oil based products on your eyes as it can cause damage to your retinas...

Are you talking about petroleum-based products or just any type of oils, like olive oil?
