But this link will take you to a chart that shows which companies make a lot of the organic stuff. I'm always interested in who makes what.

I don't understand why they can't just make all their stuff organic, then. I think that would help reduce costs a little.

Really! Why can't they all make organic foods? It's proven to be healthier but not many can afford an all-organic diet because of the costs. We all, I think, would love to eat foods without all the preservatives and junk in them. It would make for a much healthier nation. Just don't understand why these companies can't covert everything to all organic!

You know I did a little research one time -- and it's been several years and I can't really give any details so you're just going to have to trust me on this! But so many of these companies are all owned by one BIG company that no one has ever heard of. Take seeds (and I'm talking gardening and farming seed) for instance. Most of your seed companies are owned by like two major businesses. These same two main businesses also own all the pecticide companies. I did a little more reseach and these same companies owned all beef and pork industary. It is a huge cycle where they develop the seed that relies on the pesticide. Like I said, I did this research awhile back and was completely overwhelmed by how all of these companies are all intertwined. It was just insane! It was also a little frightening and appeared to never end.

It is totally frightening, so much so that I can't research those topics. Especially right now when I'm reading the Kingsolver book (and LOVING it!) and reevaluating our diet (again). I'm so sick of supporting corruption and putting poison in my body, ugh!
