I had a pretty relaxing weekend. We didn't spend a lot of money. We did spend a lot of time indoors ripping down ugly wallpaper. But the kids were GREAT about it, mainly because the weather was nice so they spent a large part of it outdoors.

My kids both played soccer yesterday. My five year old is surprisingly really good. He's a really good dribbler and hustler! To the point where we (the parents) have to remind him to let his team mates take the ball every once in awhile!

I love weekends where we as a family can just hang out and chill. What were your simple pleasures this weekend?

Definitely going to our friends' house last night. We just ate pizza and drank some beer, and enjoyed talking and laughing together. The kids had lots of fun too. They'd probably list eating junk food and staying up late as their simple pleasures. It was nice enough for us to walk to their house (they live a few blocks away) so the weather was definitely a simple pleasure too.

Going outside with my younger one and doing sidewalk chaulk! We also were able to grill out yesterday,Oh my Spring really is in the air

Sitting on the deck with dh, sipping coffee and watching the snow melt. We thought spring would never come!

We Always Have A Couple Of Friends Over On Sundays To Play Cards After Church We Always Have A Good Time And Laugh Alot.

Yesterday was beautiful!! 65 degrees !!! We let the two little ones (ds and grandson) run outside for a long time!!!

Also, today is our 23rd anniversary. We aren't doing anything, Wednesday is date night around here, but I am so happy to be celebrating 23 years together!!

We went over to my brother's house last night for dinner. Had a nice time with the kids, my niece and my mother was even there!

Naps are my weekend simple pleasures. I had a 3 hour nap yesterday and today. It's almost like catching up on the sleep I miss during the week.

We took our girls out and flew kites. I hadn't flown a quite since I was a kid and our oldest daughter had a blast holding onto the kite and boy it was really hight up in the sky!!!
