Hello everyone,

I noticed recently that I have a lot of ant hills in my yard. I tried pouring hot water on them, but that didn't help. I don't want to use any chemicals on them, the kids are playing in the yard and my chickens are scratching around.
Is there anything else I can do to get rid of them?
Thanks!

i heat up a cup( or two if i have lots of hills) of white vinegar and pour that down onto and into holes...it seems to work.

Tried and true, cayenne pepper, use it every year in my shed, no more ants all summer. sprinkle where they are coming inIt has something to do with them tracking it back to the nest and injesting it. Always works for me.

That's funny, I am using vinegar for pretty much everything, just didn't think about using it on the ants. I'll also give the cayennepepper a try.
Thanks for the tips!
