I am not there yet either but I am working a little closer to it each day. I like to imagine the way my grandparents lived....and because I was so close to them and heard many stories of how life was I can relate my own simple living to their lifestyles in the 30's and 40's. I have much more decluttering to do and many other "tweaks" to do in the process but we are on our way and I have to agree with another post....my family does seem more relaxed because we do have less "stuff" in our lives.

Another work in progress here. We have a ways to go but I am seeing a lot of progress so that is good. Seeing progress gives me motivation to keep on going.

Right now we are decluttering and trying to eat healthier. Less processed foods -not giving up the organic mac and cheese though as DS loves it and I just can't cut out everything he loves. We are also growing some veggies - all things that make us moe self sufficient and reaching my goal of a more simple life.

I am also a work in progress, though my vision is very different than yours!!! My main stumbeling blocks are de cluttering and I would love to use wind power for our house (though I can't see this happening anytime in the near future). I do not forsee growing my own food (not simple at all in my book!) I love my simple running all over the place with my kiddos! My simple pleasure is watching them participate in activities and try and excel and different things!
