A woman in a group I belong to was always saying she was unemployed and they could barely make it on her husband's salary, were to the point of going to a food pantry, etc. So, as a surprise, the group decided to adopt her family for Christmas. Everyone bought gifts and donated food for Christmas dinner (at some sacrifice to their own budgets). So, image OUR surprise when the gifts were delivered to her $300k home and accepted by the housekeeper. The kids were in their private school and Mom had gone out to lunch driving the brand new Suburban. Not cool.
