Fill up my own bottle of water at home from the tap!

Also, my daughter and I (we both like really cold water) have been taking advantage of the ice machine that most hotels have by they pop machines. We fill up our cups with ice and let them melt. My 4 year old thinks it's the coolest thing ever!

Any other ideas?

I like your ice tip!! I will remember that when we're in Vermont.

I was planning on buying jugs of water at the grocery store when we get there and taking them to my SIL house before we leave to recycle them. Otherwise, I'd be dragging my recyclables home

Other than bringing water bottles and snacks along, I haven't thought of any awesome tips.

We're squeezing into the Jetta to save money and fuel instead of taking our Suburban which would obviously be more comfortable.
