Maybe this is just me but has anyone noticed a change in their sense of smell or sense of taste sense going green?

I am just more aware of thing scents or spices when I'm eating. Last night when we were eating dinner I noticed a spice in some bread crumbs that I had made awhile back and had forgotten what I had put into it. Or recently, when we did use chemicals (we have horent's nests forming and their was one in our mailbox, we nuked them) - I could still smell the chemicals about 5 hours later!

I know smokers do this when they quit smoking so maybe it makes sense that removing some chemicals from your life would do the same thing.

What do you think? Or am I the only nutty one experiencing this?

I think this is perfectly normal, Mel. Your home is now a lot more "pure" because it is no longer "toxicated" by chemicals. Your home is your private environment and most probably the environment where you spend most of your time in. Enjoy the experience, you should also start to feel more energetic too (well, depends on how demanding your children are), because your body no longer needs to use up precious energy to detox and can free up energy for you to enjoy life. Beware though, you may find yourself more sensitive when you do go to a mall/or a commercial enclosed environment where more chemicals are in the air. Your senses will become more sensitive.

I've always been very senstive to smells but I agree that I'm overly sensitive now. When I go to the mall and smell the new clothes or to someone's house and smell their cleaners, it really bothers me.
