Has anyone found any green cleaning products that work better than their non green alternative?

I don't notice any real difference except a in a couple of places. One is getting that ring in my bathtub gone. Though the baking soda / salt works pretty well on that. And the static clean on the clothing. Not a big problem with mine or the kids clothing but it is an issue for my husband's work clothes.

Overall it still is worth it to me going without chemicals. Especially with children in the house.

We are a chemical free home here...
I use vineger and baking for cleaning around the house, there are sooo many uses for it.. Dr. Bronner castile soap for deep cleaning if needed.... You can use such a small amount its great.

I have a steam mop for cleaning my floors, since it heats up the water, it kills germs very well minus any chemicals

For static, you should try the dryer sheets that are sold on Onestepahead.com they have NO chemicals in them, and they work!!!!! They last forever to!!! I replace mine every 6 months or so.. And for added scent to the clothing since I'm not using downy or anything, I put a drop of lavendor EO on them and they make my clothes smell nice

I actually have found that Clorox green works tub cleaner works better than any other cleaner I have used. When we first moved into our apartment some dirt got stuck in the grooves of the shower floor (we have one of those big insert tub/shower things with a textured floor to prevent slipping). I tried scrubbing bubbles, soft scrub, and lysol bathroom cleaner and I could not get that dirt out. I had actually complained to my mom about it. Then one day while in walmart I found the green works and bought it. It got that dirt out on the first scrub! I was so excited. I love the green works line. I also converted my mom to it.

Yes, they work just as well if not better!! I LOVE vinegar & baking soda! And I am too a fan of the "Green Works" line. Something else no one has mentioned so far is the "Seventh Generation" line. I have both the dish washing liquid & the powder for the automatic dishwasher. They work great & have a nice scent too. You can buy that brand at Target or Amazon.

I haven't tried the Greek Works line, but I LOVE my Method Cucumber cleaner in the kitchen. I have found it works so well on my cook top (its a white pained gas cook top) I have not found anything else that works as well. I spray it wait a minute or two and wipe away EVERYTHING that good burnt on.

Oh speaking of Method, I picked up a canister of Method go naked Surface wipes on clearance at Target. They work awesomely on my kitchen countertops and stove. We have cheap white countertops that stain very easily and these wipes work wonders. Since they were clearanceing them out I may have to try your cucumber spray, Lawdawg, when I run out.
