All this talk and thought about sunscreen has me thinking about the option of natural sunscreen. So I started researching what some good natural sunscreens are, and of course, on of the main ones that comes up is California Baby. So I look into it, and some products are double, even triple the cost of the common sunscreen. So the other part of my brain says, well, what about the possibility of making my own sunscreen. So hear is a common recipe I keep coming across, and I'm wondering what your opinions are:

Sounds expensive to make and has very limited UVA and UVB protection. Not worth it to me.

It sounds like something that I would love to put on my body! But the UVA and UVB warning on it does leave for some concerns. I think for the kids especially, but me as well, I will continue looking for California Babies - they do seem to have the best rep - I just can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where it is sold at?

But I love this site! Did anyone notice the recipe for natural mosquito repellent? It also mentioned that tea tree oil was great for bug bites!

Well, I read the part about the recipe not having a high enough SPF if you need higher sun protection - as most of us with kids need, I would think.

I'm just going to order the California Baby. I don't want to take the chance.

I found California Babies at Wegman's grocery store. It was pricey but I will let you know if it works.
