Do you have a special cupboard for them?

Do you just keep a few and the rest you store in a box?

Do you not keep plastic containers (Butter tubs, cool whip bowls, etc.)?

Do you buy only special types (Glad, the ones that fit inside one another and the lids all stack together, Tupperware, etc.)?

When we remodeled our kitchen I got rid of all the miscellaneous stuff (glad, ziploc, rubbermaid) I kept the nicest rubbermaid containers, especially the large ones.

I use glass pyrex bowls with plastic lids. I have 2 large bowls, 4 medium, 4 small. I have a cabinet that has fridge smart at the top, pyrex in the middle and coffee cups on the bottom shelf (it is near the coffee maker).

I keep containers that cannot be recycled for the garage. My husband stores and labels them. We also use them for painting cups. I think the only containers I've been getting are for our butter.

The butter I buy doesn't come in a tub, and I rarely buy anything that does. I don't have any children that can use them, and don't have room to keep them.

I have this set. It has a little rack that everything sits on.

I used to save the butter, cool whip, etc tubs, but I was running out of room & they were cracking too easy usually the only ones I save are from Country Crock side dishes, they are durable, but anyway...I keep mine in the same cabinet as my other dishes(I only have one MAIN cabinet & few other small ones)...I try to stack them all together & put the lids to the side...but also, my mom got me this Awesome set that comes with 4 different size containers and they are on a round thing that spins around & the lids go under them, very hard to explain but it works great doesnt take up room at all I have it right on the counter, I think she paid $5 for it if you want me to ask let me know :D

I don't use empty food containers as storage containers. I use gladware and I just nest it all together and tuck the lids in on top of next to the stack...no storage issues whatsoever.

My plastic wear is a hodge podge of all different kinds. How do I store them? They get heaved into the plastic wear cupboard and the door gets slammed shut. Not too organized but I have other more important things in life to worrry about.

I use this method as well. Works fine until you open the cupboard and they all fall out!
