I do not have curb side service and I'm sure I could be so much better if I did! Now I have to haul it to the county dump.

I'm really good about magazines. I'm pretty good about glass and batteries. I'm so-so about cans. We don't usually have a lot. And I have a compost pile and I'm very good about that.

ours will take different kinds of metals( prefer cleaned up)
empty paint cans( no lids)
the sleeves of cereal boxes and waffle boxes
all bottles and glass containers
paper/ cardboards( even the containers juice comes in..the cans of juice...take the metal ends off and fold)
plastics

if you are not sure what else can go...just call city/town hall or where you take it and ask. they will tell you or send a list.

certain plastics (#'s 1 & 2)
glass
paper, magazines & phone books
some cardboard
cans (we turn these in for $)

We recyle everything there is it seems and what we can't, my dad will scrap out.
The items we recycle are:

Cans
Paper
Cardboard
Plastic
Glass
Our recyling place also takes clothing.
Batteries
Telephone Books
They have a seperate building for paint materials that you can get rid off and then they go through it and anything that is good they put back out on shelves and you can take it to use. So, I seldom buy paint or stain.

We have curbside, thank goodness. We recycle glass, aluminum cans, newspaper/magazines/cardboard boxes; batteries; plastics #1-9, which include everything from shampoo bottles to water bottles to Rx containers to ketchup bottles.

I recycle everything - newspapers, junk mail that does not have our address or name on it, plastic, alumnin -- everything! As soon as I started recycling I noticed a decrease in the amount of garbage we have!

We have curbside pick up. We recycle paper, cardboard, glass, metal, and all plastics with a triangle on them.

I recycle batteries here at work since we have a program for that.

We take all plastics
aluminum cans
tin cans
glass
batteries
magazines and newspapers (though right now we use newspapers for my puppies)
paperboard and cardboard of all types
plastic bags (though now I use them for cleaning the dog kennels)

I try to recycle anything I possibly can.
