Can you recycle those little plastic things that hold six packs of soda together?
We don't have them around often, but I had one today and didn't want to throw it away until I found out.

Call your local recycling center and ask if they take them would be your best bet.

I have heard that before they go in the trash, cut them up (cut the circles out) because IF they end up in a stream or other body of water, they can kill the fish. I guess the fish swim through the hole and get stuck. So, on the rare occasions I do have them, I cut them up...better safe than sorry is my thinking.

Yep, I have been doing this for years. My Mom told me horrible stories about little fishies that would get stuck there when I was younger and ever since then, I am sure to cut them up.

I'll call and see if I can recycle it.

Yep, ducks and other birds can also get their beaks stuck in the holes and end up dying. They don't accept them for recycling here so I always cut them all up before throwing them away.
