Yesterday while I was driving to a neighboring town, I all the sudden noticed how beautiful the scenery was!!! I have driven this route a million times and never noticed before!! The leaves are starting to change, the fields are full of corn and soy beans ready to be harvested, there were wild flowers along the highway. I need to stop and notice things more often!

I do! I LOVE this time of the year. We live in an area with a lot of big old trees. Once you get out of my subdivision (which is newer, so not so many trees!), the main road I have to take to go anywhere has trees on both sides of it....and they hang over the road itself. In the fall, it is like the leaves are literally raining down. The road is very curvy, too, so everytime you drive "out of it", you round a corner to come right back "in it". It is gorgeous!

I do every time I look at my kids.
I'm lucky enough to live in a development that is in a canyon. It's also near a reservation, so we have some great, pristine desert there. Now that we've had rain, everything is a bit greener. Beautiful.
I was thinking we need a thread asking people to post the foliage change in their area. Where I grew up, the hillside would appear to be on fire, with all the maples and oaks there. I miss that look. In northern AZ, there are color changes, but it's mostly to yellow, rather than the reds.

That is the part of my job that i love. I get to see some beautiful scenery while driving around the backroads delivering mail. I get to see the baby lambs in the spring, baby cows and horses, even baby deer on the side of the road. Plus the flowers, lakes, rivers and i pass too.

I do! Not as often as I should, but I was just driving home from downtown the other day, and instead of taking the Intersate, I decided to take the back roads, and Ashlyn enjoyed looking at the trees, and even some cows (yes we have cows in Florida.LOL) I don't know why I don't do that more often, it only adds about 10 min to the drive! We don't have the colors that you guys have up north, but it is still nice.
Also, we live on a conservation lot, so we are just starting to have cooler weather in the morning and at night so that we can sit out on the back porch and enjoy our own backyard! Morning coffee just got better!

Oh yea, sitting out on the deck on a crisp fall morning watching the chickens chase bugs and scratch around. Maybe next year when the babies are 2.

We spend the weekend at my inlaws cabin and it was so beautiful. It poured rain and the leaves are all red and yellow.
Also M learned how to say "gamma" and "papa" so she is charming the pants off everyone. Melts me heart.
