is the Apple peeler- corer-slicer. I use mine everyday.

It is so funny how such a small simple thing can bring so much joy to my life.

My MIL wanted one for Christmas one year and I got a great price on Amazon so I got one for myself as well. Dh and I were actually fighting over who got to turn the apples!! It was hilarious and made quick work of the 5 gallon buckets we gather from our neighbors apple trees every fall.

LOVE it! I sold Pampered chef for almost 4 years and it was one of my best sellers.

aside from the obvious, what do you use it for? Do you really eat that many apples?

(it's a real question, I'd like one but I think it'd just sit in my cupboard unused)

My vote is the microwaveable ice cream scoop. I couldn't believe it when I saw it so I ordered a few for Christmas.

Yes :D we DO eat that many apples. Everytime one of the girls eats one it's peeled, cored and sliced. DD #2 still likes to eat the peel all curled up and sliced off (yeah - she's a little touched ). It has also been great with my 18mth old since it slices them very very thin. She is able to eat them without me being too concerned.

Also - yes the obvious - in the fall I use it twice as much for applesauce, pies, apple crisp.

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

We get a ton of apples every fall and freeze them for use the rest of the year. I think you can also use it for peeling other things like potatoes as well.

Yep, I do potatos, too...AND, those apple peelings...they can make yummy popuri!! AND, you can place them on a cookie sheet, sprinkle with butter (or spray butter), shake brown sugar and cinnamon over them and bake under a little crispy. They are DELICIOUS that way...and nothing gets wasted!! LOL
