Now is the time to go through your medicine cabinet and toss the expired ones, bottles with a few drops left, flavors that the kids...or even hubby wouldn't take if their life depended on it, etc. Also, take the time to make a list of basics you will need once cold and flu season starts. No more trips to the store in the middle of the night for nyquil.

Don't forget expired prescriptions as well as over the counter.:D
