I was noticing how crazy my keyring had gotten! I had keys to our vehicles and house, my parent's home, the karate school, church, lockboxes, and more. I use a kubaton (a metal stick that can be used as a weapon) for my main key ring, but I had several other keyrings that others had given me through the years and I had added to the mass. Plus, our vehicles have remotes that I keep on the ring. Anyways, it was a jumbled up mess, and I reorganized it! Now, I have my everyday ring and another ring that I just keep in my purse. I used my favorite key rings and omitted the extras. Now, it's much more managable! And easier on my ignition (not so much weight!)!

At one time, I had MORE key rings than KEYS, lol. Now I just have the car keys and the house key and one key ring. The other extra keys are on a key ring here in the house. For me it made it easier to drive without the keys/keyrings dangling and tickling my leg all the time, LOL.

I need to go through mine ... I was noticing the other day that I still have keys to my old job! I haven't been there in almost a year.

Oooh and theres an added bonus to lightening your keychain - all that weight pulling can actually damage the ignition of your car! You just potentially saved yourself some repair money!

Tell that to my husband! Who should know all about car stuff. I think he has keys that he has no idea what they are for anymore. At one time I had too many key chains, but I am lucky to even have one now. And I only have 3 keys. One to my van, one to the church, and one to my house. For some odd reason, I have not added the mailbox key to it. So I lose that one ocassionally. I throw it in the ashtray of my car.

I looked up that kubaton AyeOhKay, looks like a handy thing to have. I may see if I can get one.

I study martial arts, and we do a kubaton class teaching how to use it effectively. It has lots of uses!
