I have tried/researched several different online cleaning routines. They all seem very long winded and I go through the work of making a special cleaning notebook and then realize I don't want to or can't stick to someone else's ideas. I have learned to modify and make things work for me. Here is an article on MommySavers with a very simple 3 step cleaning routine.

To me, it says pretty much what other sites say, ONLY IN 3 STEPS!

I envy this type of living. It just doesn't work for us. I clean what seems messiest and never catch up!!

I kind of do this in a chaotic manner I only clean in "bursts" when the stars align and I have the time, energy and the baby is either sleeping or otherwise occupied

Thanks for posting that link. I'm a clean freak, but there are so many area's in my house that I need to tackle...but I just don't have the time or energy. This will help me out so much

I just try to spread the cleaning out through the week. One or two tasks a day. Monday-floors(vacuum, sweep, mop) Tuesday-Laundry and bathrooms Wednesday-Dust Thursday-vacuum Friday-laundry Sat and Sun-off. I clean the kitchen as I use it. I pick up the living area when DD is napping and after she goes to bed. For being 3 she is really good about cleaning her room! :-)
