As you know from the news, Haifa Israel has been bombed the last several days. As you may not know, Haifa is the World Center for the Baha'i Faith. It is the location of the Archives of the Baha'is as well as the world governing council for the Baha'is and several Holy places for my Faith. I am very concerned about these special places being so close to the bombings. I would relate it to how you might feel if the area around the Vatican was being bombed if you are Catholic.

Of course the entire area in Israel and Lebanon is full of Holy places for several religions. I am asking everyone to please, regardless of how you feel politically about the bombings, to please pray for a quick end to the bombings and to a peaceful resolution. Please pray for wisdom among the political leaders in this volatile area of the world.

Thank you for your prayers. Let's hope the Holy Land remains intact and the death toll stops.

There are so many religoius lites there, I also pray they remain standing and one day the region will be in peace and I would love to visit all the holy sites.

Religious for most and historical reasons for just about everyone are great reasons to ask/pray/meditate for preservation in this case. There is also cultures and people at stake on both sides send them some love too.
