Okay so a couple months ago my dad told me about this workshop he went to with my stepmom called Love and Respect. It talks about how men need respect and women need love and these are the 2 most primal instincts of our being.

My church is now holding the seminar/conference for our congregation. I decided that I was going to go whether or not dh went. Well I was telling him about the seminar/conference (after praying on how to find the words to tell him). He actually considered it. When he found out it was for about 2 hours Friday night and like 6 hours or so (with lunch) on Saturday he became more reluctant. I told him it was truly okay if he didn't come, but I would LOVE to have him there with me. I then told him I wouldn't bug him about it, but I would be asking him again on Sunday so I can pay for the ticket(s). Then last night he asked me who would be watching dd. I told him I figured my mom was going to. I hope he decideds to go, but even if he doesn't I am still so excited that the thought of going was actually pondered.
