My to-do list has been really overwhelming this weekend. Dh is now vacuuming to help me out, and is acting as my personal assistant this afternoon. I'm so lucky to have him!

My husband worked overtime last night. Nice extra money toward our vacation fund!

My mom and I's relationship. I just love her. We can talk about everything, and I am so happy for that. We met today after my softball practice and talked about all the issues between DH and my dad. I felt great about it. I still do, I"m just glad we have that.
Of course, none of it helped DH's and Dad's relationship, since DH is being the stubborn ass, i'm not wrong, I don't have to respect whoever i dont want to, attitude. And nothing between them is better, he is still unwavering in his stance, and is ok just not having a relationship with dad at all forever, but at least me and mom can talk about it.
When we have kids, his attitude towards my dad will change, someone tell me that!!!! reassure me!

I know you ladies are probably going to frown upon what made yesterday and for many years to come (hopefully) my "happy" moment, but...
We bought a Wii.
Yes, I gave into the fad and bought it. They're ALWAYS sold out, but I stumbled upon one yesterday while doing my grocery shopping! I was at walmart and there was a buzz going on at the electronics. I went and saw at least, AT LEAST 17 people on line buying it. I asked to see one and it was a bundle pack. I bought it and dd, ds and dh were soooooo thrilled! Thankfully I have 1.97% apr on my cc for 6 months and I charged it. Don't get maaaad!

Mine was going into my dd's room this a.m. and peeking over her crib and there she was just a grinning back at me without a care in the world. I think the song by George Strait, I saw God today, sums it up! oh, yeah, and hubby sent me an email and when I opened it up, it was a word document that he clip arted a rose onto and it said i love you with all my heart! Now that made my day. I think he might just get lucky tonight!!

Way to go! I've been looking at them online and "wondering" - I am really interested in the new WiiFit that is coming out.
