Believe in God, Jesus and the Bible. I guess it makes be close to the Christian faith. We go to a Nazarene church. I am still learning who God and who I am. I am always interested in learning about others and what they believe.

I was born and raised Pentecostal. Currently I'm not going to church and my family has marked me as a sinner. I still feel like I have a relationship with God but when I tell my family that I still love Him I just can't go to church right now they judge me. I totally understand the post by me and my three sons because I feel the same way. Me and my dh and boys has been hurt by the past few churches that we went too so it has left us with a sick feeling even thinking about going. God has never failed me and my trust is in Him and Him alone. I feel if what I am doing is wrong He will deal with me and lead me to the right path. I was very religious even at a young age and very involved with the church I attended. I was a Sunday School teacher and me and my dh over the bus ministry. So we were very involved and it was a hard decision to quit. I know this may sound real bad to some but since we quit I feel relieved almost like a weight has been lifted.

As they say people will fail you everytime but God\Jesus never does. It is good to have a support group church family but it doesn't mean you are doomed if you don't. When the time is right you will find a church that fits you. As long as you feel you have a relationship than you do. There are some that go to church and don't have a relationship so that is half the battle there. I hope your family loves you for you and doesn't judge you because they do not know your heart.

I am a born-again Christian. I have been since I was 8 years old, but over the years as a teen, and in my twenties, I've rededicated my life to Christ. I go to non-denominational churches. Currently, I am trying to find a church home. I don't know where I'd be without the Lord in my life. He has brought me through so many difficult times in my life!!

I'm new, and I usually just browse along and look at most of the post. However, I love the topics of religion and spirituality so I had to reply.
I most identify myself as Pagan. As a matter of fact, I'm what some would call a kitchen witch. But I have a strong belief that all gods are one god, that is to say that all religions teach their version of the "Golden Rule" and most are fundamentally about being the best person you can be to yourself and others.
As for my children, my oldest is almost 6. Occasionally she goes to church with my grandma. But she will tell you that the Moon is a girl and mother, and that the Sun is a boy and a father. She is also learning what represents the four elements in nature. I really don't mind what religion she chooses as she grows up, as long as she has learned tolerance of all those whose spiritual path is different from hers.
