A "road rager"?
If not, how do you feel and deal with them?
This thread starter stems from a bulletin post on myspace from a fellow MS'er.
I've dealt with this in the past, and it makes me incredibly nervous to come across them. They endanger my family and myself -- ugh, I wish the cops would be at the right place at the right time!
My sister was once followed by a crazy lady in a crowded interstate. This lady thought my sister had cut her off and wanted to fight! My sis called 911 immediately and the chick was gone before she could be caught. Very dangerous situations.

I get a little irritated with people some times, but NOTHING like road rage. I don't understand it at all! My mother, though, wow, she kind of scares me when she drives anyway, but if someone cuts her off, she starts driving like a freaking stunt driver, speeding and swerving, just to "show" that person. I won't ride in a car with her.

I am not a on eof them. I ahd a friend that use to stick up her middle finger out people who she didn't agree with on the road. I always told her one day she is going to do that to the wrong person. Well, she did it to her father's boss. I told you so is the only thing I managed to say.

As you know, you can get shot around here for road rage. DH turns into an inconsiderate monster at times behind the wheel. He doesn't really do rage, or flip off people, as he will just say something to himself. But my issue is how abruptly he will pull out behind someone to pass, or just be inconsiderate, like if someone is entering a highway. He's often in his own world, too, which can cause problems. He's been hit a couple of times, not his fault, but some have been things he could have avoided. I guess I could say he doesn't rage, but can be aggressive, which could definitely make someone else angry.

I am not one to do this. There are times when peoples driving will irritate me, but I don't do anything, I just count to 3 and exhale.
I have been involved only once with roadrage and it is just a scary feeling!
This happened on a freeway at 65 miles per hr. speed, the car came up super close on my tail and then would back off and would repeat this and then they finally did go around me in the other lane, but it was Super Scary!!!

I'm not a road rager. I'll admit that I'll shoot some dagger eyes at bad drivers and mutter a comment under my breath, but that's about as bad as I get. I try to let things roll off my back. I think of it this way -- if you try to do something to a bad driver to get even for a perceived driving injustice, you could end up doing something stupid and getting yourself injured or killed.

I probably make people mad. I usually drive about 4 or 5 mph over the speed limit. If people really get on my tail, I start slowing down. Probably not the wisest course of action, but I refuse to speed even more than I do to appease some jerk, and I want them to know that I do not appreciate their jerkiness.

No, not at all. If someone is driving crazy, I *want* them to pass me, and get away from me.

I get mad and swear in my head. It's not a behavior I want my girls to think is acceptable.
