I enjoy a good balance. I need "downtime" to read, watch TV, work out or do something else that rejuvenates me.

Alone time, what is that?

I used to enjoy it and I miss it. Now DH can not be alone and it drives me crazy. I have the kids with me right now and I enjoy them but I wish I could just paint my toes without help making them look like an Picasso painting.

There's an 8 year age difference between me and my sister so I grew up as sort of an only child. Alone time is essential. Sometimes "disappearing" into a book can provide the haven I need.

I am a loner by nature, too. I HAVE to have alone time to regroup, especially after being around lots of people. I think sometimes people I know think I don't like them, because I rarely ask them to do anything, but it's honestly not something that even crosses my mind!

There is 13 yrs. between my sister and I so I basically grew up by myself. So having alone time is something I can deal with, but I also like to be around other people. I normally have a good balance of both.

I guess it depends on my mood, I do enjoy alone time, it gives me time to just relax and do what I want to do, although I don't that much alone time these days but I do enjoy getting together with people and visiting also, I guess I like an even balance of each, but that generally never happens!!

and i do like to meet up with friends that i have known for many, many years but it's not that often.

I don't socialise with colleagues outside of work for loads of reasons and luckily my job involves seeing people in their own homes so i get to stay out of the office too (some women i work with are so "two-faced" that i prefer my own company)
