This soups was so Tastey!



Hamburger Soup~

2 lbs ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 (2 ounce) package onion soup mix (for 3 or 4 servings)
6 cups boiling water
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 cup celery, sliced
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup elbow macaroni

In a large saucepan, brown meat, drain excess fat. Add salt, pepper, italian seasoning, seasoned salt, and onion soup mix. Stir in boiling water, tomato sauce, and soy sauce. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes. Add celery and carotts to simmering mixture and continue to cook for 30 minutes. Add macaroni and simmer for 30 minutes longer, adding more water if necessary and stirring occasionally.

I can second that!! I made this soup too and it is very yummy. It is such an easy recipe. It reheats nicely, if you have leftovers. I had just enough leftover for me and ds3 for one lunch.

I made this tonight and it was delicious! The whole family loved it

In addition to the water, I added 2 extra cups of beef broth and 1/2 cup extra noodles. We have plenty of leftovers for lunch tomorrow and I may even be able to freeze a serving or two

Great recipe, had it also last night and everyone enjoyed it.
My DS said he wasn't going to eat it because it was a meat soup. I couldn't figure that one out as he eats chili, beaf stew and taco soup, well pretty soon he is asking how it tastes, gets a bowl and ends up having 2 servings and loved it!!!!!!
