2 lbs ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tsp pepper
3 tsp minced garlic
5 small cans tomato sauce
1 (8 ounce) jar salsa
1 packet McCormiack chili seasonings
3 cans kidney beans,drained(or,I just use 1 of those XL cans)

Brown beef and onions,mix in the rest,heat til bubbly then turn to low and simmer 60-90 min.


This is WICKED good for as simple as it is...EVERYONE loves it!!!

Most chili recipes are a mile long...with a handful of ingred..this is AMAZING!!!

Ok , me the question asker - needs to ask - what type of salsa? I like salsa , and I have bought many many brands over the years , there are alot out there!

you can use whatever kind ya like really...sometimes I use a chipotle which makes it smokier....sometimes Pace hot for some heat....sometimes just reg pace to make it do-able for a group(for store bought I like Pace salsa...can ya tell ?!?)

I just wouldnt recommend a pineapple or corn salsa mix...or any of the off the wall ones like that.
