4 med potatoes, peeled and chunked
2 carrots, sliced
1 onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
3 c water
1 lb kielbasa, sliced thin
1 can bean with bacon soup


In dutch oven bring veggies and water to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 10 min,til veggies are almost tender.
Add kielbasa and bean soup.
Heat til hot.
Serve with crusty bread.
(You can crock pot as well )

I know this recipe is from 2 years ago, but I made it last night! It came out delicious. I even got 2 thumbs up from the most critical MIL ever. I did add onion, garlic, and quite a bit of powdered seasoning like chili powder, cayenne pepper, and season salt. We like our food super salty. I also added a few pieces of cabbage. I have 2 more recipes from this website that I am going to try this week, so I will try to post the results.

What did you serve with it?I am thinking it would probably make a bowl for each of us with maybe a little bit left over.So curious of what you served with it.Oh yes eat full bowl of soup(well the guys not me).

I ate mine as soup, but put my husband's over white rice. He has to eat everything over white rice.

That is a good idea.I am making this tonight for dinner.I trying to do everything I can to stay away from poultry until Thanksgiving day.I am making some garlic bread with it and maybe some salad too?
