Augratin Cheese Soup~

1 box augratin potatoes
10 1/2 ounces chicken broth(I use water & bollioun to equal this amount)
3 cups water
2/3 cup diced carrot
2/3 cup diced celery
1/2 cup milk

Mix potatoes,sauce mix,broth,water,carrots and celery in pan.Bring to boil.Reduce heat and cover.Simmer 25/30 minutes.Stir in milk.

Serve.

This is very good!
You easily double or triple it if you wanted to.

Thanks for this!! I won't have to buy anything in order to make this either!! And the best part? I got several boxes of Augratin potatoes - BOGO for 88 cents!! - using coupons. So even making a double batch of this will end up costing me less than $1!!!

These are the kind of recipes I like!! Different uses for boxed meals that you already probably have on hand!! Great post!! Thanks again!!

This would really come in handy for those participating in the FTJ Project!!

I have a batch going right now....

I used the garlic roasted scalloped potatoes and am gonna slightly thicken w/a couple Tbs of inst 4 cheese mashed potatoes.....and toss in a handful of frozen corn for dd.

she keeps coming in to ask me what smells so deliscious.

I too got some of these a while back on sale w/coupns for like .10 a box...I ended up hating them.......but this is a great way to use em up.

****update****
just ate the ones w/the garlic potatoes.....was delish and even dd(6)loved it...but it is heavy on the gralic flavor(ok with us)so if youre not into garlic dont go there!
