Hunter was accepted into a NT preschool t his morning. He will be attending Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-11:30. I ask to please keep us in your prayers that he will be able to transition and be successful.

Does this mean a little free time for you? I'll keep you in my prayers.

Congratulations! I hope the teacher is knowledgeable in accommodating. DS had a special circle in his favorite color to sit on to try to get him to stay in one place. It made the others want their own circles!! The first week may be a bit hard; my son was fine at home, just wanted to cry more, but he tried to defy authority in school at first - he had never had anyone tell him what to do but daddy and me. I had to reinforce that teachers are the bosses at school

Good luck. I know you'll have enough to keep busy. This is a big step for both of you!

My 3 yr old DD has been in Headstart (Friends of the Community Program) since the beginning of September and love it. It is a very small class, 5-8 kids total with a teacher & an aide. She loves it but it is also very structured and she deals better with structure than with free time.

Congrats, I hope after a routine is established it goes great for Hunter.

Hurray! Hoping that you get patient, accommodating teachers who will have great communication with you! GO HUNTER!
