That is so interesting. I had genetic testing done on my second child. I wonder if the will get to the point where they can test for the gene through the mother's blood as they did mine. I know in my case, if I were to find out the probabilities of autism, and Aspergers, it would not have altered my pregnancy, but I would have had a chance to find out more about the condition and services needed, along with what warning signs to look out for. This could lead to much earlier intervention, as my son had no intervention until he was four, and no real therapy until six.
