If so what do they take, what are the benefits, and where do you purchase them?

Dd has a horrible diet and refuses all "medicine" but she will take a chewable multivitamin. She does okay in school but sometimes has a problem staying focused, etc... So I was thinking of getting her some fish oil supplements for kids. Any advice?

There is an Omega-3 Supplement out for kids. I've seen it at Target, WM and several other stores. They come in a form similar to a Gummy Bear.

I give DS Omega-3 or Flax Seed for his blepheritis.

I give my kids a mulitvitamin and lemon flavored fish oil gel caps. They bite them and say they taste good. Not sure how much it helps, but I feel better knowing that they are taking something that's good for them. I have to buy them both at the healthfood store. I haven't been able to find them anywhere else that have no dyes or corn syrup in them.

The kids take Omega 3-6-9 by Yummi Bears. They look and taste like gummy bears but are one of the few vitamins that are lead free, dye free, gluten, HFCS, casin, allergen, and a few more things free. It is vegatarian form. They also take the yummi Bears D-3 during the winter and flu season as it is good for the bones but is proven to help fight the flu.

Dd takes fish oil supplements per her psychiatrist's and endocrinologist's suggestions. We're supposed to give her a daily multivitamin because she consistently tests low in vitamin D, but we forget to give her that one most of the time.
