at least that's what the doctor says. i'm very skeptical, and yes i know i'm not the parent, but i think they give out the adhd diagnosis and the prescription too easily.
anyways, i remember reading an article about children whose doctors hastily diagnosed them on adhd, but the parents tried to change their diets first before resorting to meds, and in many cases the behavior improved without the use of medicines. does anyone know where i can find any info on this? my brother and sil (the parents) were not told of this alternative. i know the decision is ultimately up to them if they want to solve the problem with medicine, but i would like them to know there are alternatives.
