I would say no. My parents have helped out financial over the years -for which I am very grateful- but basically refuse to babysit (they say they want to, but whenever we ask, they are conveniently ill or busy- I'm talking about watching one kid so I can take the other to therapy or the dr, stuff like that - not a night out on the town).

We have some friendly acquaintances, but none of whom I think I could really count on. Dh and I are in many ways very isolated. It would be great if we knew some people who actually "got it."

I would love a support system -I am so tired!
