So you girls know the problems Anthony has been having in Kindergarten with his anxiety and expressive language delay. Well, any way, I got some good news this week. First of all it started with a test he brough home where he got 32 out of 32 for his sight words Then his teacher told me she wanted to talk to me. Turns out Anthony helped one of his classmates with reading. Basically the little boy didn't know the word BOX, so Anthony asked him each letter and had him say the sounds then told him to put them all together and say the word. That is HUGE for him. I am so proud of him. He has come a long way since the start of the school year.

That is so awesome! I think it makes kids feel good and gives them confidence when they can "help" others with something they are good at.

That is great. I'm finding that delay is just that: a delay - not permanent.

Congrats!
