We all know (or most of us realize) that people who suffer from ADHD tend to have clutter - I think it's clutter in the brain or something (I think I have ADHD, too, but never knew it). Do you notice a big difference in your child with ADHD between being in clutter and being in a neat space?

My DH and 9 year old are ADHD, so our house is a case study in clutter. I have heard (and DH and his mother, also ADHD have confirmed) that people with ADHD like things filed "laterally", or "spread out" because it makes things easy for them to find. I have heard many, many times that what looks like a mess to us is actually their way of seeing everything at once. Guaranteed they can tell you exactly where everything is among the clutter!

My DS (16) had ADHD and I can tell a huge difference when he is on is meds. Off the meds he is unorganized, backpack and bedroom look like a hurricane hit. On the meds he is super organized, everything is in its place and he knows right where everything is.
