This is a list I wish I'd had when my son was 5 and first diagnosed. I had no idea these therapies existed, and am still looking for the all-important social skills therapies in my area.

One note: Your school can provide some of these therapies. Private therapy helps round it out (as the school can only provide therapies for the school setting), if you can afford it. Our state recently passed a law that insurance companies must cover medically necessary therapies. However, how much it covers has not been mandated. Look into what your state's laws are. If you aren't happy with what you find, start the ball rolling with your local legislator and try to round up other parents or groups to get results.
