God’s Autistic Child

I may not walk and talk like you,
Or maybe a little slow to you,
But in God’s eyes I’m just right.
I’m his special child.

Sometimes people stop and stare.
Some act like they don’t care.
No matter what they do or say,
I know his love is always there.
God may us all different,
Each in our own way.

Some call me disabled others handicapped,
But in God’s eyes I’m special,
Not because I am different,
Because I AM ME.
