Do you find your SN child has a different innocence and sweetness than the NT kids his age? I was speaking w/other moms of Aspies today, and we felt the same. Yes, the kids can have anger issues, mostly due to frustration, but they don't intentionally bully or lash out. They don't premeditate and target others.

I agree with you 100%! My 9 yr old is so sweet and sensitive and is always so kind to others around him even when others occasionally bully him he never bullies anyone back. It makes me wonder if he'll have a 'compassionate' job when he grows older like a vet, a chaplain, a minister, or a therapist or something. He may be the only therapist around who still can't tie his shoes but he'll listen well and have great advice!
