I just found out my 16 month old is allergic to dairy, eggs, and peanuts. I'd love some ideas for dinners and snacks for her. Right now I'm very overwhelmed with the thought of it. One of the biggest factors is that I'm a huge baker and I use cheese in just about everything. Any ideas would be appreciated!!!!

Well, at least most dinners do not include dairy, eggs, or peanuts. I mean, you can still make tacos or burritoes or that sort of thing - just no cheese on hers. You might want to ask the doctor if eggs baked in, say, a cake or brownies are an issue. I know some people who can eat eggs that way, but not just as eggs. Is it just peanuts or no nuts? Nuts are easily left out of tons of baked goods. Lots of cookies have no nuts/no eggs, but they have butter. So you might need to substitute margarine instead.

Good luck!

My youngest DS is allergic to dairy. I use a lot of Soy milk for him. There is some dairy free, nut free, gluten free, egg free icing that I am getting ready to test out (for taste) It is manuf. by CHerrybrook Kitchen. Other than that, I dont know much more than just leaving it off of his food...

My DS is also allergic to dairy. I only use margarine when I cook now, I used to use butter. We no longer eat ice cream, we do fruit sherbert instead. When I'm making something with cheese I make a small amount and leave out the cheese. One question though, how allergic to dairy is she? That may seem like a strange question, but there are so many degrees of dairy allergy I wanted to ask. I have found that even though drinking milk will make my son super sick, if he eats just a little bit of cheese he is fine. It may take some experimentation to figure it out, but you'll learn to adapt and after a while it will be second nature. DS was diagnosed with the dairy allergy at 4 months.

I know how difficult this is. My son is severely allergic to peanuts and soy.
Luckily, the chances for your dd to outgrow her allergy to milk and egg are pretty good. Until then, here's what I can suggest:

For peanut-free snacks, I make a lot of my own things. Cookies especially. You can make her fruit muffins, veggie sticks, applesauce, crackers and jelly, cereals, fruit, popsicles, canned pineapple slices, mix fruit smoothies using frozen fruit and a banana (banana makes it creamier)...

For meals, my son loves spaghetti (get egg-free noodles), chicken and veggie stir-fry, tacos, hamburgers (check ingredients on bread), quesadillas or grilled cheese sandwiches (use soy cheese and check ingredients on tortillas), baked chicken and veggies...

As I think of more food ideas I will post again. How allergic is she? Will you need to carry an Epi-Pen?

By law, all food items must be labeled with potential allergens (at least nuts, milk, eggs, soy, wheat, shellfish, and I can't remember the rest). So pay special attention. It's a lifestyle change for the whole family.

I hope something here helped
