Anyone have frugal plans for the weekend?

Saturday my oldest has a basketball game---free.
Sunday the girls have a dance rehearsal and then a church program---both free.
I also have 2 movies from the library we can watch--free.

We are taking it slow since DH is still recovering from his surgery. But Friday night is his work party and I am SO excited. A night out with no baby and last year they gave away $1000s of gifts. So free dinner, free babysitting (MIL is actually coming through for us) and maybe a prize.

We are staying home. Dh will be out of state all weekend long. So if I want to go anywhere, that would require wrangling four kids by myself and I do not think that I am that crazy. Tonight after dinner, I am running to the store for any items that we will need; milk, eggs, etc. The kids do not have school tomorrow so also after dinner we are going to decorate gingerbread houses. I think while I am out and about, I might swing by the video store and see if I can get the kids a movie-ds1 still has some money left on a gift card. Tomorrow-clean house. Saturday-think the kids and I will make cookies. Sunday-that is usually our day to run errands or just have some fun. Maybe we will take the kids bowling.

Friday evening we have a Christmas Auction that we have to work at for the fire department. DH & I & both girls go & help pass out items. THe girls love doing this, plus the fire department gets a cut of all proceeds & we don't have to pay for dinner. THey feed us. Saturday morning we have lunch with Santa for my company & they have lots of activites for the kids, free lunch at a really nice place & gifts for the kids. All we had to do was make a donation of a toy to the Marines (they have a program called Toys for Tots that they donate to needy children) & i got a great deal on a game, only spent $5. THen Saturday evening, I'm going to my work Christmas dinner, i'm the only employee & my boss & is wife always take us to a really expensive place & always compensate me with a nice Christmas gift, so my only cost there was what I spent on their gifts (about $45), & my SIL is baby-sitting for free as I watched my nephew when she had her party. SUnday, I'm unsure what is in store for us, but I'm excited about our fun weekend.

We are going to be having a snowstorm this weekend ( saturday-monday morning) with high winds and sleet chaning over to foot of snow so we will be staying home too. I ran to the grocery store last night because I really don't want to be there today.
We will be making christmas cookies, watching movies and just hanging out around the fireplace.
We are having my family over for dinner tonight and the kids are going to be decorating gingerbread houses.

Friday night is always Video-Popcorn Night at our house. Homemade pizza, a Netflix movie and popcorn. This weekend, I have a young woman who used to babysit for us when she was teen, coming over. She has a toddler now and is expecting again next month. I just purged my storage room to dig up boxes of children's books for her. I saw her in the thrift store a few weeks ago and asked if she'd like to have them.

I'm doing my wrapping marathon this weekend, as well. And, I have to do some holiday baking for neighbors.

Tonight is the Live Nativity at church, we will be stopping by to check it out and have hot cocoa and cookies! Saturday is a birthday party for a friends son (who is 18!) so our presence at the party is our gift to them- just teasing, got a card and a shirt for him! Sunday is our churches Christmas program, I can't wait to see what will happen, they have been working on this since September and last weekend they gave out new lines to the kids to memorize (even my youngest, I am praying that she remembers it, it is kind of a tricky line that she keeps messing up on!).
