My dear hubby (DH) called me today and asked me to get him 8 AA batteries from Walmart. He then challenged me to NOT spend any money J on anything else. I figured that was an easy enough request so I decided to just “window” shop. So, did I manage to not spend any money? No, just because I found a deal I couldn’t pass up! This ever happen to you? We have a round dining room table that I like to keep covered by using a table cloth. I have only 3 that I have to constantly wash because after each meal they are totally gross! Don’t ask me how I found them, but there they were, just laying there calling out to me “buy me buy me”. So, I did! I found three round table clothes that will look just lovely on my kitchen table on an end cap (you know where I mean, the “clearance sections”) for $1.00 each!!!!! Regularly $11.88, I obviously thought they were totally mis-marked. I took them to the register and sure enough, I just paid $3.18 for all three of them! So, is this money I shouldn’t have spent? Did I fail at my challenge today? Well, I am sure pleased with myself and figured cheating on my challenge was well worth it today!

So, tomorrow is a new day for me to attempt my challenge of not spending even a dime!

LOL!! If my dh wants me to not spend $- then he wouldn't ask me to go to the store- especially one like Walmart-lol! If you ask me- I think your dh set you up!:D

Well, I think we were supposed to spend less- that $3.18 is so much better than over $33!
