Most of us here on the board are making strides to make the most of our money. But what about our time? Like the old saying goes, time is money. Are you as careful about how you use your money as your are with your time? When deciding to do or not to do something, do you use the same decision-making processes with your time as you would with your money?

Unlike money, everyone has the same amount of time. There are only 24 hours in a day, so why does it seem like some people get so much more accomplished than others? Do you know anyone like that, and what do you think their secrets are? What are your strategies? What methods do you use to budget your time and ensure you're getting the most out of your day?

well i used to be horrible with my time. now i get up early and get as much as i can done before anyone else gets up. this free's up my time during the day to get some bigger things done in a shorter amount of time. i also don't feel like i'm running around anymore because i do have more free time to do other things.

I also get up very early..I get a LOT done to prepare for the day that way.. Also, out small town in starting a program called Timebanks.....so, if I "earn" an hour helping an elderly lady with grocery shopping, that "dollar" goes into my "account" and I can "spend" it on someone changing my oil, etc. It is a way to build community and save your actual cash for things like your mortgage, etc It is very exciting and has the potential of huge savings..you can check out the idea...look at Time Banking - Creating Social Change by Weaving Community The idea is that everyone has assets and can be part of the solution, even if they don't have very much money.

what a great idea! I checked and there isn't an organization in my community, but I'll definitely keep my eye on it. Thanks!
