I'm no expert, but I think you can. As long as the coupon states you are saving on *1* item, you can use 2 coupons. If the coupon says 'save $1 on 2' then I believe you can ony use the 1 coupon.

that is what I do. I leave those decisions up to the manager. OR you can try and see if they have a coupon policy in writing. sometimes they have examples online. I don't go to CVS so I don't know there coupon policy, but this is what I do at walgreens.

At CVS- I have used 2 coupons at once when buying an item that is buy one- get one free or buy one- get one 50% off- the second item either free or 50% off is taken off like a coupon at the end- where at Walgreens when they have a buy one get one free- the second item comes up for $0- then some of the cashiers will haggle with you about using 2 coupons. I am loving CVS though- last week I had tons of $2 off Revlon make up products- then they were buy one get one free and I used $7 in extra care bucks and had a $25 gift card from transferring a prescripton- so I stocked up- I got the 4pack of eyeshadows for $1.50 each- they were originally $6.99 each- but buy one get one free- then I had 2- $2 off coupons on each. Man that was a good deal!!!! I also did this with their blush and powder- it was a good make up score last week!
