What did you do today that saved you money?

-Dh took the receipt back to Target for a purchase and got an $11 refund since it's on sale this week.
-I am volunteering at a Girl Scout day camp as the camp nurse and we get $20 off the cost of the camp.

We chipped in for a bagel breakfast for the assistants at work today, so I had that for breakfast and lunch, then brought home extra bagels and made pizza bagels for dinner. I also took home the extra fixings like sugar/sweetener for coffee at home : )

As I was waiting for the water to warm up for dishes I collected in jars and watered the plants. When I took a shower I turned the water off while I lathered. Brought snacks to the softball game instead of buying junk at the concession stand.

I stayed home and learned how to can some things. I canned green beans, new potatoes and strawberry jam.

Yesterday I......

Took two items back to Home Depot for refund.
Took my lunch to work.
Used refund money to help pay for propane tank refill.
Made supper with items we already had at home & even have leftovers for today's lunch & supper.
