Honestly we had long distance blocked on our home phone. I really only talk to my sister long distance and she gets free so she calls me or we email. I can call long distance on my cell if I need to but never really need to. How about you does email save ya money on long distance calls?

yes...i only call my dad and my grandmother on the phone long distance( neithe has a computer)...everyone else i e-mail. phone bill calls are way down but i swear our internet charges go up every month!( we pay a flat fee for the internet we get)

I don't have long distance on my phone either. I do use my cell phone occasionally to call my parents but I call in the evening during my free minutes. I use email or instant messaging on the computer or facebook to communicate with my best friends who live in San Francisco, Singapore and Australia respectively.
