SO looks like I lost anyway. LOL He went to Job Lot to buy a tarp and it was 11.99, he only had $11 on him. SO He came home, and tried to use the old tarp, but it wasn't big enough. SO I gave him the extra dollar to buy a new one.
The reason he had to ask me for money is because he is spend thrifty and I got tired of paying overdraft fees because he doesn't care of pay attention to the bills and takes out what he wants. So NOW, I am the ATM machine and when I'm broke, he is broke. If you do a search of my old posts, you'll see where I'm constantly complaining that my husband can not handle money at all and is constantly overdrawing my checking acct.

See there, you're being reasonable. Once it was obvious that the tarp you had wasn't going to work, you gave him enough money to get a new one.
My grandfather had the same spending habits as your dh. My grandmother's banker told her to control all the money and give him a strict allowance. That was the only way they were going to stay above water financially. She took over their checking account and, although he wasn't happy about it, it did solve the overdraft problems. Sometimes you've gotta do what you've gotta do even if it seems harsh to someone who isn't familiar with your particular situation.
