What would you rather give up than your internet service, if you had to decrease your expenses?

I would cut out one or two times eating out, and stay home 2 or 3 days a week to save on gas. Anything left would come out of the grocery budget before I'd give up the internet.

Internet is the thing that we actually gave up. I am able to use the internet at work and by the time I finally make it home I have too much to do to even think of getting on the computer. DH has internet at his business, so if I really had to use the computer on the weekend I could go to his business or to the library. I plan on getting it again once I have eliminated some debt.

We can't give ours up. Himself has to have it for work and for school. He could use the ones at the library sometimes, but they have a 1-hour limit, and all of his graduate work these last two semesters is going to be online.
We'd have to cut back the food budget - everything else is either fixed or already as low as we can get it.

Internet is the absolute last thing I would give up. It saves me more money than I spend with couponing forums that do all the hard work for me with matchups, printing coupons online, viewing sale ads online so I don't have to buy the paper, finding deals on things we're in the market for on a deal forum, new tips and hits for doing things more frugally, watching TV online after we cut cable almost 2 years ago, and all the free recipe resources.

Let's see. What would I give up before internet? Hmmm...indoor plumbing, running water, prepackaged toilet paper, etc.

I LOVE my internet!

I would cut out our cable tv. It's about a $60 per month savings.

We did a trial run for 2 weeks earlier and I think it was much calmer around here without it (plus we had a minor savings in electricity). Not to mention, that we could watch lots of shows on the internet USING HEADPHONES, thus reducing the noise level here.

DH, however, prefers to keep cable.

I think internet would be the last thing to go here...

I would drop cable, maybe take all my classes online and not drive 60 miles a day to school. I could easily cut back/out my scrapbook expenses (although it would suck). I'm pretty sure internet would be the last thing we would cut out, as long as we can buy groceries, make our house payments and pay our bills. Thankfully, we are far from ever having to cut out anything.
