I tried to sign up for the 30 day free trial and they do require a debit card. They will not take credit cards (Dave Ramsey is very much against credit cards). When I checked the "info" area it gives a number to call and a person (Pax) to ask for if giving out debit card info is a problem. I called and Pax informed me that this is the only way membership can be obtained. I informed him that by giving him my debit card info I am authorizing him to access my money whenever he wants and that is not acceptable. He informed me that that is the only way it can be done. Oh well!

You all did know that, right? Giving out debit card info gives any one with that info permission to access your account at any time they want for any amount they want. If your debit card happens to have a Visa logo on it then your are ok. Visa has a zero tolerance for fraud but be careful with any that don't.

I did sign up for it last week and so far, I like it. Yes, you do have to enter a debit card number before hand and it's stated on the website as to their reasons why they only accept debit and not credit. You are NOT charged anything up front and should not be until your 30 day trial is up and you decide to continue with it.

After the 30 day trial is up, it's $8.75 per month or they have a 1 year deal for somewhere around 90 bucks. At this point, I will only use the month to month basis.

You have access to the message boards with members who are extremely helpful, as well as a live chat room and tools to track your progress.

We don't have a debit card. That's how we got ourselves in trouble years ago. Guess I won't bother with the trial membership.
