I went to walmart yesterday to get ds diapers, they went up $1. they were 5.97 now there up 6.97
ive also noticed eggs and milk prices changing on a weekly basis. generic pasta at aldis is no longer $1 its up to $1.29 not much of a change but enough.
ds stopped formula which saves us $24 a week, but now with prices increasing and having to pay for our health insurance that little bit and then some is gone. Just when u start to get ahead

to be honest I have noticed prices going down, and better sales. cheese (kraft) is back to $3-3.30 a pound, eggs were 1.29

diapers, I bought pampers box for 18.99 ( size 5 with 70 in the box) then a $3 off coupon.

but I do think you are right the prices are fluctuating more and you have to watch for that!

I have also noticed prices going down across the board for staples such as eggs (.98 a doz), milk (1.98 a gallon), bread, etc. I know some things have gone up, but most of what I buy I have noticed has gone down or stayed the same. I will say that I do not shop at Walmart except for a few things and the last time I was there I was shocked at how much more expensive they were than I could get at other stores.

Our prices are going down in my area. I rarely shop at WalMart though and cannot say what their prices are or aren't.

Milk and egg prices have gone down here. I think everything else keeps rising.

to add: I don't really shop at walmart either, but the last time I went about 3 wks ago, I did notice that they didn't have the "deals" like target and reg grocery store has.... maybe you need to check out the sales at your local grocery store chain and compare.

yea ive been watchin the ads lately for the other grocery stores in the area. but i had always bought the walmart parent choice diapers because they were cheaper than luvs or other name brands. but i was shocked that they are now the same price if not more than luvs.

I have also seen pricing going down in my area. However, we just got back from a trip to CA, and I was amazed at how much prices have stayed very high there. While stores in my area are doing everything possible to get buyers back into buying, the stores in CA seem to think nothing has changed in the economy (except for housing prices, of course.) I was really surprised.

here on So Cal it seems prices are still going up - not seeing any good deals here. Walmart only carries junk food/processed food in our area - they just remodeled ours and I looked at the new larger food section and was shocked at the amount of junk - I mean it is all crap - no attempt at offering anything healthy there. They do have milk, eggs and cheese but no organic anything - at least Target carries organic milk. Everytime I go to buy something I am shocked that it has gone up from the last time I bought it - from TP to cleaning products to milk and eggs.
